Acted as a liaison between business and technical resources by developing and maintaining content on corporate web properties. Developed public web sites and user experience (UX) for subsidiaries.

City of Appleton, WI – PC Applications Developer

Sole developer and system administrator of the City’s Intranet and public web site. Created a City Intranet to be used both as an information portal for employees as well as a new, standardized platform for existing and future department-specific applications. Implemented Intranet authentication by integrating Novell’s LDAP library with IIS. Created secure web service to act as intermediary between data stored on AS/400 (DB2) and other applications, both public and internal. Developed online reporting tool (based on Crystal Reports) to interface with existing and new Intranet applications.

Entropy Multimedia – Web Developer

Develop web pages using a proprietary framework that allows end-users to easily update web page content without knowing how to program. Worked with Apache in a Linux environment. PHP was used in conjunction with GD for graphics manipulation. All web sites used MySQL on the backend. Involved in all phases of the project life cycle, including scope specification, design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation/training.
