I find it hillarious how the so-called “alternative media” has appologized for and defended Bush time and time again, yet now that there is an election in progress, they waste no time putting a dagger in his back in favor of changeâ„¢ from the likes of McBushBainCain.
Ehh, it’s all over tomorrow. Then they’ll move on to telling us that we made the wrong choice and that we “deserve who we voted for.” I thought that was proven during the last 8 years…
Here’s hoping Obama makes it to his innauguration before some racist asshat takes him out.
To anyone still thinking about voting for McCain, I’d like you to read these excepts from ABC’s Charlie Gibson’s interview with Sarah Palin:
At least my taxes will be lower so I can pay for the heat bill… And I’ll sleep better knowing the evil homosexuals aren’t coming to get me.
Green Party canididate David Cobb answers 12 questions posted by Slashdot readers. It’s an interesting read, and he seems a little less extreme than Mr. Badnarik, however, the questions and answers lacked substance. I really wish popular third party candidates were included in the debates.
Just when you thought the 2004 election couldn’t get anymore confusing or controversial, Bush opens his mouth. Yes, the man I was planning on voting for as a antidote to terrorism has decided to put himself in the ranks of the other religious fanatics. While addressing an Amish community last July, he admitted, “I trust God speaks through me. Without that, I couldn’t do my job.” *sigh* Why can’t we have a leader who runs the country with expert guidance and reason instead of voices in his or her head? So should I vote for the will of God or the billionare communist? So many choices…
Libertarian Candidate Michael Badnarik answered several questions posted by Slashdot readers today. The results are quite interesting, and I urge you to read them in order to make a more informed vote. I am not necessarily endorsing him as I have not yet decided whom to vote for, but I think his answers are interesting. I still believe in protecting American jobs, and some of his views (like abolishing the federal reserve and ending the war in Iraq prematurely) are a little extreme. I do like the idea of adding another major party to our current 2-party system.
Well, here’s the ad everyone’s talking about – crew members of Kerry’s swift boat speak out against him. The ad is scheduled to air in a few markets in Ohio, West Virginia and Wisconsin. Democratic lawyers have attempted to threaten stations that play the ad, but so far the publicity has made the effort moot.
Before voting for Kerry, I strongly suggest you consider his involvement in the VVAW, an organization largely funded by communist Jane Fonda. This organization took joy in the physical and emotional abuse of returning U.S. soldiers from Vietnam, most of whom had little choice and didn’t even want to be their to begin with. In fact, Kerry was an organizer and key spokesman for the organization. The organization’s anti-war sentiment created fodder for the Viet Cong propaganda machine, which only served to hurt American soldiers and put their lives in danger.
“Under Kerry’s leadership, VVAW members mocked the uniform of United States soldiers by wearing tattered fatigues marked with pro-communist graffiti. They dishonored America by marching in demonstrations under the flag of the Viet Cong enemy.”
Sen. John McCain revealed that his North Vietnamese captors had used reports of Kerry-led protests to taunt him and his fellow prisoners. Retired General George S. Patton III angrily noted that Kerry’s actions had “given aid and comfort to the enemy.” Source: NewsMax.com
