My wife Wanda and I currently live in a split-level home in Appleton, WI (City photos). We currently do not have any children but wish to fairly soon. I have a brother Tony who is 6½ years younger. Both my parents are still alive and we are very close. Wanda’s parents have passed away and may they rest in peace.

We currently have 3 pets: Josie (cat), Penny (dog; Golden mix), and Ollie (dog; Yorkshire Terrier).

Politics

Here are some of my opinions on the issues, which you’ll see is a mix of varying party values:

• Abortion – It should be the couple’s, and ultimately the woman’s, right to choose.
• Bailout – I disagree with government controlling private enterprise and using public funds being used to purchase a steak in them.
• Death Penalty – Proponent, if only a more efficient appeals process.
• Environment – I support reasonable taxation of companies that profit from pollution (as long as the money is used for cleanup and not simply as punishment).
• Guns – I support reasonable restrictions on gun use and ownership. There are too many gun deaths in this country. I am still torn on the issue of concealed carry in Wisconsin – I think both sides make good arguments.
• Immigration – We welcome all LEGAL immigrants with open arms. Stop the bleeding borders and the rape of our social services.
• Religion – Freedom from religion is just as important as freedom of religion. Religion doesn’t belong in our public schools beyond teaching history, current events, and in the context of religious studies in general. This country should be run with reason and expert guidance, not because God told you so.
• Affirmative Action = Reverse Discrimination.
• Gay Rights – GLBTs should be afforded the same rights as everyone else, including (but not limited to) marriage and adoption.
• Socialist Security – I’d be happy just to get the money back I put into it.
• Unions – Vote NO!
