I decided to go with the new web site design that you currently see. There are still some visual bugs to work out, but it’s mostly functional. I think this design looks more modern than my old one, and I think/hope the navigation is more intuitive. I also added widget support to my web site, which means nothing to you unless you’ve worked with WordPress (previously, I manually added content to the side bar in the template).

New website? Looks entirely outsourced to popular web tools?
I’m not sure what you mean, exactly. But yeah, I implemented a new design.
I got the design from here: http://www.elegantthemes.com/preview/Quadro/, but I made my own WordPress template and CSS for it since they charge for theirs and I didn’t like a lot of the quirks it had. (Except, I stole some graphics and the CSS for the comments portion of this page)
I’ve been using WordPress for awhile now, since my last .NET-looking design. There’s also custom code, widgets, and page templates that I developed for WordPress. About the only things that changed from the old site is the design and the addition of the Flickr widget and the ability to post comments on content pages such as my source code section. Everything else is pretty much as it was.
There are still some visual glitches with the new design, but I’m working on it.

Looks pretty nice…I like it. I enjoy writing custom stuff for WP, it’s very well-documented, so figuring out how to do things is a pleasant task…well done.
