Filed under: Amazing. Tim Burton is remaking one of my favorite childhood stories – Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. And Johnny Depp is playing Willy Wonka. Does anyone else think Depp looks like Michael Jackson, or at least a run-of-the-mill child molester? This is gonna be weird. Depp was the bomb in Blow.

I don’t even want to see it.. He is no Gene Wilder. But he was a hunksicle in Pirates of the Caribbean.
I agree – Gene Wilder did a great job in #1. I’m hoping to keep an open mind, though. I don’t mind doing something different, but I’m not a huge Tim Burton fan.
